Improving health outcomes for all

H researchers are committed to solving the health challenges impacting people in Canada and around the world.

They collaborate across disciplines and with government, industry, and community partners to improve health systems, develop better treatments, and shape policy, addressing the biological and social determinants of health and driving improved health outcomes everywhere.

H is the major training centre in the Maritimes for life sciences, health professions and health law and policy research personnel. Research in this area involves work done a wide range of Faculties at H as well as provincial health departments, hospitals, research institutes and research foundations.
