What is academic quality assurance?

Academic quality assurance is a series of standards and practices that ensure the quality and continuous improvement of our academic programs. Quality assurance is a significant responsibility of universities. By engaging in regular assessment and review processes, HÂþ»­ demonstrates its commitment to:

Within HÂþ»­, responsibility for academic quality assurance lies with Senate, the university's senior academic governing body. Academic quality assurance policies and procedures are administered by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic, with oversight delegated to the associate vice-president academic.
