Public Administration Student Society (PASS)

PASS is a peer elected student society whose members are currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration Program at HÂþ»­.

The purpose of PASS is:     

  • To promote camaraderie among MPA students and other HÂþ»­ graduate students and to provide opportunities to interact with professors and public service professionals;                                          
  • To encourage a balanced student lifestyle through academic, professional development, social and athletic events;                                                  
  • To act as a liaison and represent student interests and concerns to the faculty and the administration;
  • To foster an environment that promotes team-building and cooperation.

Atlantic Conference on Public Administration

The Atlantic Conference on Public Administration – Conférence atlantique sur l’administraton publique (ACPA - CAAP) is an annual event organized by students in HÂþ»­ University’s School of Public Administration. ACPA - CAAP provides opportunities for graduate students, professors and professionals in the public service, non-profit organizations and private sector to connect and to share ideas, experiences and best practices. The conference showcases events such as student paper presentations, roundtable discussions and debates regarding issues facing the public service in the Atlantic Region and in Canada.
