Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA)

MFA is required for all Dal accounts. MFA is a security authentication method that requires you to provide 2 or more pieces of evidence (or factors) to a login. The evidence is a security code or confirmation provided via a phone call, text message, or authenticator app.

Passwords alone aren’t enough to protect us online. Cybercriminals can often guess or steal passwords. MFA means adding an extra verification step to your password, effectively stopping cybercriminals at the front door. Our MFA service gives you an extra level of security when accessing your Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., OneDrive, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
