Black student advising

If you’re a student of African descent, Dal’s Black Student Advising Centre on the Halifax campus can provide you with academic support, confidential counselling, and advocacy and mediation services.Ìý

Graduate students

°Õ³ó±ðÌýHÂþ»­ Associations of Graduate Students (, Truro) represents graduate students at Dal. They are advocates for graduate students, and offer services including grants, opportunities and events.Ìý

International students

Our international student advisors (Halifax, Truro) host workshops and programs, cultural events, and provide advising related to immigration, health care, finances, travel, and more.

LGBTQ2SIA+ & gender safe places

There are a number of programs, services, training and support for the LGBTQ2SIA+ community, including the 2SLGBTQ+ Advisor and groups such as Ìý²¹²Ô»åÌýStudent Health & Wellness.Ìý

Indigenous students

Our Indigenous student advisors (Halifax, Truro) help create a sense of belonging for Indigenous students at Dal. Living in residence, you are part of your residence community from day one. Residence Assistants (RAs) are always organizing great floor events so you can meet other students from all parts of the country and from around the world.

°Õ³ó±ðÌýHÂþ»­Â Multifaith Services is a non-threatening space on the Halifax campus where students, staff, and faculty can address the basic questions of meaning and purpose in their lives — no matter what their faith, philosophy, or doubt may be.
