The Inquiring Mind - Post Secondary

Why take The Inquiring Mind Post-Secondary course?

Are you looking to improve your understanding of mental health and mental illness? Are you a teaching assistant, or a student leader on campus who supports other students? This course is for you!

The Inquiring Mind provides you with practical knowledge of mental health and mental illness and learn how to:

  • Recognize declining mental health in yourself and others
  • When and how to get for support for mental health or mental illness
  • Evidence-based mental health coping strategies
  • How to address suicide on campus
  • Reduce stigma and build a supportive campus community

This workshop is currently available for students only. It is delivered in a 4-moduleÌýformat over 4 hours.

Participants registering for The Inquiring Mind workshop must complete all 4 modules of training to receive their completion certificate from the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Co-Curricular Record or Course Bonus Points.
