Instructor – Plant Science and Genetics

The successful applicant must have:
-A minimum of a Master’s degree in Plant Science, Genetics, or a closely related discipline such as Biology and Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university.
-At least three years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level in Plant Science and Genetics or a closely related discipline is required.
-A Bachelor’s degree majoring in Plant Science or Biology, or related.
-Knowledge and experience in Plant Science and Genetics.
-Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with a wide range of analytical instruments and biology laboratory apparatus, such as (but not limited to) cell biology, PCR, electrophoresis, imaging, and microscopes, is required.
Desirable assets include:
-A Doctoral degree in Plant Science and Genetics or a closely related discipline.
-Demonstrated excellence and strong passion for teaching in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment, strong leadership skills, and interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrated skills in collegiality, resourcefulness, innovation, and excellent communication.
