FAQs
What does "managed (administered) by ITS" mean?
If the technology is known to ITS meaning, you call the service desk or a support contact in the ITS group when anything needs to be done, then it is most likely administered by the ITS team. On the other hand, if you, or someone in your department regularly maintains that device, can control users access, and manage data/applications on the device then this would not be administered by ITS.
What will visitor access be?
Guest access services will still be available after the conversion to the new network. The process for guest access provisioning will be available on the project site and other standard spaces once the deployment begins.
Will there still be internet at night and during non-business hours?
Yes. Internet services will continue to be available at night and during non-business hours. During the actual cut over there will be short disruptions as each building is brought online. Schedules for the planned disruptions will be posted on the project site and at the locations where the intended work is to be completed.
