The Rowe School of Business invites applications for a two (2) year limited-term appointment in Business Law at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor commencing September 1, 2021.
The successful candidate must have a graduate degree in law or membership in the Bar of a Canadian common law province. This is a position with a strong emphasis on high-quality teaching, and evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level is an important asset. The successful candidate will be expected to teach multiple sections of undergraduate courses in business law. Coordination of multiple sections of a course may also be required. The successful applicant will also be expected to contribute to the academic life of the School. Candidates must be able to meet the school's accrediting body's (AACSB) qualification requirements.
The Rowe School of Business is part of the Faculty of Management, which has a unique commitment to values-based management and interdisciplinary research and learning. Thus, the successfl candidate will have opportunities to work with like-minded colleagues in the sister Schools of Public Administration, Information Management, and Resource and Environmental Studies with the Faculty.
