​With fall semester and the return to classes quickly approaching, Student Affairs is excited to announce the launch of the ​â¶Ä‹.
The new website​ is a resource for all Dal and King’s students (new and returning) to support their online learning experience. It has been tailored to students’ needs, and was informed by the Student Support team, as well as the online learning survey sent to students via Brightspace in March. The new website includes:
- Information on what students can expect for online course delivery, research, grades and assessment
- Information on the various technologies used for online courses and what’s needed to access them
- Access to various resources to support their academic goals, including the Bissett Student Success Centre, Writing Centre, Accessibility Centre and more
- Tips to succeed, including tips on managing stress, staying motivated, avoiding procrastination, creating a study space, and more
- Contact information, including telephone numbers, for key units including the Registrar’s Office and ITS Ìý
This new website compliments the new launched last month, which is an instructor-focused resource.
