HÂþ» University is beginning its annual abandoned bicycle collection on all Halifax Campuses Wednesday May 15. Office of Sustainability staff will be visiting each building and identifying bicycles that look like they have been abandoned.
There may be a tag attached to your bike with the date and location written on the tag. If this occurs and your bicycle is not abandoned please take the tag off and recycle it.
On May 30th Facilities Management will be doing a second visit to these buildings and cutting locks and collecting bikes that still have tags attached. Bikes will be taken to the Central Services Building 1236 Henry St. If your bike has been identified as abandoned and you would like to claim it please contact rethink@dal.ca.
