COURSE INFORMATION: Chinese 3062: Modern Chinese Literature
Winter Term 2018-2019 (January 1, 2019 – April 30, 2019)

WORK ASSIGNMENT: This class is conducted in English. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including admission, lectures, test preparation, evaluation, and electronic submission of grades. Instructors are expected to maintain reliable and constant communication with the administration of the Department, to be available for two hours per week for consultation with students, and to have students fill out the evaluation questionnaire at the end of the course. Instructors report to the Chairperson of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants should have native or near-native proficiency in English and a background in literature or other academic and/or professional qualifications deemed suitable for teaching the class. Knowledge of the Chinese language and previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level will be assets.
