Qawl (Speech) is the 14th month of the Bahá’í year.​

Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji
This day commemorates the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji (1621-1675), the ninth of the Ten Sikh Gurus. He is remembered not only for his defence of the Sikh Faith, but also for willingly giving up his life for religious liberty for all faiths.​

Native American Heritage Day (USA)

This day annually recognizes the rich cultural heritage, history and vital contributions of American Indians on the Friday after Thanksgiving Day in the United States.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (UN)

A Day to raise public awareness of this pervasive violation of human rights, and to promote its elimination.

The Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, son of Bahá’u’lláh, commemorates His passing. Bahá’ís observe the Holy Day of the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá at 1:00 am, about the time of His ascension.​

St. Andrew’s Day

St. Andrew’s Day is the feast day of Saint Andrew, and Scotland’s official national day. In 2006, the Scottish Parliament designated St Andrew’s Day as an official bank holiday. It is also a national holiday in Romania (since 2015). Saint Andrew is the patron saint of Cyprus, Scotland, Greece, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, San Andres Island, Colombia and Saint Andrew, Barbados.​
