HÂþ»'s SharePoint Online system (part of Office 365) is getting a new look for its lists and libraries.
On October 11, the SharePoint Online interface will switch from the classic (current) experience to a newer, more modern interface for lists and libraries.
The new experience includes the following improved features:
- A more streamlined appearance
- Easier data/document filtering
- Better integration with other Office 365 features
- Similarity to OneDrive functionality
- Easier to edit lists (add columns, views, etc.)
- More mobile friendly

SharePoint site owner information and training sessions for the new interface will be held this fall. Sign up for the SharePoint Users Yammer group to receive session date and time notifications.
