Part-time Academic

PAY RATE:  As per Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT:  The part-time academic will be responsible for History 3390.03E, Latin America:  Revolution and Repression, a third-year class conducted in the 2016 Summer Session, June 1-June 23, 2016, which explores revolution and repression in post-colonial Latin America. Class is currently scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:35-11:55.  The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the class and in addition is to be available for two hours per week outside class times for student consultation.  The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the Department.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:  Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in History or be registered in a Ph.D. programme and have demonstrated excellence in teaching Latin American history at the undergraduate level.  Please apply in writing, with a copy of your curriculum vitae to:
