PAY RATE:Â Â Â As per CUPE agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT:Â Â Â Assist the instructor, Dr. Brad Frankland, with the Statistics component of the Integrated Science Program (SCIE 1505.18). Includes (1) Preparation for and teaching the tutorials on Thursdays 1700-1800; (2) Assisting the instructor with the Statistics R lab on Tuesdays 0830-1030; (3) Marking weekly assignments (due Monday evenings) within 7 days; and (4) Recording and submitting the marks weekly.
REQUIREMENTS
OF POSITION:Â Â Â Undergraduate or graduate student with solid working knowledge of statistics at the 1st or 2nd yr level, facility with the R language for basic analysis and graphing, experience using Excel to organize and manipulate data, and either proven record or strong potential for teaching Statistics. Must be enthusiastic about the application of Statistics to other fields of science. Previous graduates of the Integrated Science program are encouraged to apply.
