Holidays for the Academic Year 2013/2014

The paid holidays and days off for the period September 2013  -  August 2014 are as follows, where provided by collective agreements, handbooks, or letters of employment:

2013

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2013 (Labour Day)

MONDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2013 (Thanksgiving)

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2013 (Remembrance Day)

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 24, 2013 (Christmas Eve, half day commencing at noon)

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 25, 2013 (Christmas Day)

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2013 (Boxing Day)

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2013 (Day off without loss of pay)*

MONDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2013 (Day off without loss of pay)*

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2013 (Day off without loss of pay)*

*Not provided for Employees covered by the Civil Service Master Agreement  -  the University and the Union are currently negotiating the terms of this agreement.

*Not provided for Employees covered by the Educational Classification Bargaining Unit (EDC) - The University and the Unions are currently awaiting a hearing with the Labour Board on the merger of the bargaining units.


2014
