POSITION:Ìý Lab Demonstrator for NUMT 3200, Radiopharmacy, Clinical Education
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Fall (September 2013 to Dec 2013) – 5 hours/week for 12 weeks

PAY RATE:ÌýÌý $20 per hour

WORK ASSIGNMENT: Under guidance from faculty the successful candidate will evaluate student performance and provide feedback to students and faculty in a nuclear medicine clinical setting. The primary responsibility will be to serve as a clinical resource guide. The successful candidate will collaborate with school faculty to ensure course objectives are met and provide remedial assessments as required. This discipline specific course integrates theory to practice in all aspects of nuclear medicine radiopharmacy. Topics include: radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and quality control, generator elution, equipment quality control, radiopharmaceutical dispensing and record keeping, radiation protection and safety practices.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Relevant training/experience in nuclear medicine technology as well as recent radiopharmacy experience. Current CAMRT certification. Undergraduate or master’s degree preferred. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
