General Announcements
As part of the move to Office 365 this fall, Dal will be adopting a new calendar management tool: Outlook calendar.
- While Meeting Maker was available on a per-user cost basis, Outlook Calendar will be made available to everyone on campus.
- You have the option for multiple views and calendars, making it easy to manage different types of schedules (personal, professional, etc.)
- More convenient sharing and meeting invitation system.
- A scheduling assistant that can easily make meetings from email text. (So if someone writes "Want to meet at the Killam Atrium at 3?" for example, you can make that into a calendar meeting with the click of a button.)
- Room and resource management
- Best of all, it's desktop, browser and mobile ready
We think that everyone who's spent time with Meeting Maker will find Outlook Calendar to be a big step forward. , or visit for further information on what O365 will mean for the university.
