Job candidates should have a PhD in Psychology and have teaching experience at the undergraduate level, particularly in the coordination and development of psychology lab demonstrations and report writing. Experience with first year students and familiarity with team-teaching are highly recommended, as is knowledge of Web-based course management.
The instructor, under the general direction of the department’s Undergraduate Program Coordinator, will be responsible for organization and administration of the team-taught courses, Psychology 1011 and Psychology 1012. Specific responsibilities include responding to e-mail messages, student advising, creating and updating the blended learning component of PSYO1011/1012 websites on OWL (Blearn), coordinating make up tests and evaluations and recruiting appropriate students for PSYO/NESC 3010.
