Work Assignment:Ìý The instructor is responsible for all aspects of teaching and administration for the class, including course preparation for lectures, test preparation and evaluation of students. In addition, the instructor should be available on-line for consultation with students.
Ìý
This class provides students, as consumers of researchÌý with the understanding of how assessments are developed; the ability to determine if assessments generate accurate, consistent and meaningful measures; how to determine the potential of existing assessments to generate measures; and to appreciate how new assessments are constructed to generate reliable, valid and sensitive measures.
Requirements of position: PhD or MSc degree plus previous teaching experience with graduate students, and web-based distance education technology preferred.
