As planning continues for , the university is putting out a call for submissions to help identify what it’s calling the “Dal Originalsâ€: the people who’ve made an indelible mark on the university’s history and the world around them.

Dr. Hewitt says the working group leading the Dal Originals initiative hopes to begin interviews and research this spring, which is why it’s seeking nominations by the end of March.
“There are so many alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, students, and friends who have helped make HÂş» what it is, and this is a chance to shine a spotlight on some of the most influential and inspiring of them,†he adds.
