Tessa Stammberger, Basketball
Third-year forward Tessa Stammberger led the Tigers to a 1-1 record at UPEI this past weekend.
In Friday night’s one-point win over the Panthers, Stammberger went 10-12 in field goals on her way to collecting 24 points. She added 13 rebounds and six assists during her 37 minutes on the court.
The following evening, she added another 24 points and 11 rebounds in the Tigers seven-point loss.
Stammberger is currently first in field goal percentage at 58%, third in scoring with 17.7 points per game and fourth in assists with 3.3 per game in AUS standings.
A kinesiology student, Stammberger is from Halifax, NS.

Connor Maessen, Volleyball
Fourth-year middle blocker Connor Maessen helped lead the Tigers to a 2-1 record at the second AUS-RSEQ Interlock this past weekend in Fredericton, NB.
Maessen collected eight kills and seven blocks in the Tigers 1-3 loss to the reigning CIS champion Laval Friday night.
On Saturday, Maessen added another 19 kills, 17 blocks and five aces to guide the Tigers to victories over Montreal and Sherbrooke.
Maessen is currently second in blocks and services aces in AUS standings.
The Dartmouth, NS native is enrolled in HÂþ»â€™s science program.
