If you’re catching the latest episode of Criminal Minds, Dragon’s Den or The Big Bang Theory—or even if your viewing habits stick mostly to YouTube these days—you may see a new animated look at HÂţ»â€™s Corporate Residency MBA.

The 15-second teaser ad is designed to lead viewers to the program’s homepage where the full 90-second video introduces them to the features of Dal’s unique program.

“We know we have the best MBA program in Canada for students coming directly from any undergraduate degree,” says Scott Comber, director of the Corporate Residency MBA.

“Our students come from a wide range of programs such as arts, science, engineering and business. Most of them have limited professional work experience, but they get to work with leading employers all across Canada in our program, making an average of $29,000 during their eight-month work experience.”

He adds that 90 per cent of the program’s first graduating class (2011) secured full-time jobs, with an average starting salary of $67,000. Canadian Business magazine ranked the program second in the country for return on investment.

“What it demonstrates for us is how students, from any undergraduate degree, can be successful in finding full time careers through this program.”

The video came out of a desire to tell the program’s story differently than had been done since it launched three years ago. Local company Egg Films produced the ad, the 90-second version of which gained more than 2,700 views on YouTube in its first 48 hours.
