Whether it’s the start of your first year at HÂþ» or your last, it’s never too early or too late to start thinking about career options.

This is the season when HÂþ»â€™s Career Services Centre is bustling with students looking for help with interviews, updating resumes, and developing a job search plan.

The flip side, of course, is that employers are looking for help too – they want to recruit best and brightest student. And in a competitive market, they’re putting in the face-time with prospective employees to find the ones that can take their organization to the next level.

That’s why the Halifax Career Fair has become such a valuable opportunity for both students and employers. More than 1,200 students from universities across Nova Scotia attend the event each year for the chance to talk shop with 140 employers, from businesses, to not-for-profits, to the public sector.

Want a sense of what the fair is like? Check out this video from last year’s event, featuring students discussing their career fair experience:

This year’s fair takes place today from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Cunard Centre. A Nova Scotia university ID or proof of alumni status is required for admittance. For more information, visit:
