Living well at Dal has never been easier.

Thanks to cross-campus collaboration between several departments, an entire week of activities has been planned to help Dal students overcome the physical, mental, and emotional challenges of university life.

Across all three campuses, everything from Zumba classes to responsible gambling workshops will be offered from September 27 to October 4. It’s all part of an effort to encourage a healthy lifestyle and promote the diverse organization across campus aimed at helping students live well. The week coincides with the National Healthy Workplace Month and Mental Illness Awareness Week.

The events taking place next week are aimed at raising awareness on health issues and giving students more options when it comes to living well says Derrick Enslow, health promotion program manager for Live Well @ Dal.

“There are so many great programs and services available for students on campus,†he explains. “This is a great way to showcase those activities, workshops and classes."

Other events include a lobster tailgate party, live well yoga classes, volleyball and football games, and an introduction to climbing course.
