Celebrate parks

- November 30, 2010

Kejimkujik in Nova Scotia is the only inland national park of Canada in the Maritimes. It features abundant lakes and rivers, lush woodlands and gently rolling landscapes.

From the headlands and cliffs of Cape Breton Highlands to the temperate rainforest of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve on Vancouver Island, our country has 42 incredible national parks. Banff National Park of Canada is the oldest national park, established in 1885, while Wood Buffalo National Park, located on the border between Alberta and the NorthWest Territories, is the largest.
