"Anaesthesia is fun," says AndrŽ Bernard. It's not a sentence one hears every day, but it sums up perfectly AndrŽ's approach to his chosen field. Originally from Mabou, Cape Breton, AndrŽ is graduating with a Doctor of Medicine, and beginning his residency in anaesthesia at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax. For AndrŽ, front-line clinical care goes hand in hand with a dedication to health policy. He has held several positions with Canadian Federation of Medical Students, and is the organization's current president. He has just returned from Kiribati in the Western Pacific, where he volunteered with the World Health Organization (WHO).  AndrŽ has also been voted class valedictorian
