Kinesiology student Tony Griffin, from Ballyea, Co. Clare finds time between studying and snow storms to practice hurling, a fast paced sport unique to Ireland.

Played with special sticks called hurleys, the game is a cross between hockey, soccer and lacrosse.

When he can get home, Tony is a forward with the Clare hurling team, and hopes to lead them back to the Irish National Championships this fall.
