Lihui Zhang




In addition to her continuing interest in crime economics, Lihui also does policy-relevant research on population health and well-being, for example, intergenerational mobility and inequality and comparative study on aboriginal and non-aboriginal population well-being.

Lihui Zhang - PhD 2010 - is currently an Assistant Professor in the Johnson-Shoyama Policy School at the University of Regina. Her PhD thesis consists of three empirical essays on the determinants of criminal behaviour by children and youth. An earlier version of her research entitled "Learning Violence Young" was featured in the Vancouver Sun in June 2008. In addition to her continuing interest in crime economics, Lihui also does policy-relevant research on population health and well-being, for example, intergenerational mobility and inequality and comparative study on aboriginal and non-aboriginal population well-being. Lihui is also a member of the editorial board for the publication Western Policy Analyst.
