Research Interests

Paola's research and teaching are in the area of information systems (IS) and technology (IT). Her research focuses on understanding the factors that drive organizations forward in the design, use and exploitation of information systems. She has examined (1) the leadership role of the CIO, (2) the adoption and implementation of health information systems, and (3) the role of IT in achieving diversity, equity and inclusion within organizations.
