Lucy Maud Montgomery scrimped and saved to study at HÂþ» College, starting classes in what is now the Forrest Building in the fall of 1895. Now, the Faculty of Health has formally recognized this connection with a plaque in the lobby of the historic Forrest Building.

Professor Jo Cooke received a warm welcome from the Faculty of Health when she visited HÂþ» for a series of presentations on June 18, 2018. Professor Cooke, from Sheffield England, is the Deputy Director and Capacity Lead, NIHR CLAHRC Yorkshire and Humber, STH NHS Foundation Trust.
