On March 6th, students will have a chance to win glory, honour, renown, and a cash prize at the Pythian Games. The Pythian Games are an annual event hosted by the HÂþ» Classics Department and Res Publica, the undergraduate Classics society.Â
Students (and occasionally professors) are invited to perform in a variety of ancient languages and the performances are judged by the reigning King and Queen. In the past we have had skits, songs, poetry, and much more! Original creations are entirely welcome!Â
There will be a reception after the performances where festivities will continue! We hope you'll join us, either as a performer or an amused observer!Â
Please send in translations for your performances by February 28th, 2020! Translations can be emailed to: claswww@dal.ca
