Sept. 28 UNBSJ vs Dal AC
Women’s Soccer – Dal AC had one of their strongest games of the season on Saturday defeating UNBSJ 2-1. Jordyn Waines and Sian Rankin both scored for the RAMS who were able to move up a spot in the league rankings.
Men’s Soccer – A tough start to the weekend for the RAMS who lost 6-1 after coming off two strong games (a 2-0 win vs Crandall and 1-0 loss vs MSVU). Austin Nelson scored the lone goal for Dal AC.
Sept. 29 – STU vs Dal AC
Women’s Soccer – Dal AC came out strong holding their own against one of the top teams in the ACAA. After being tied 1-1 for most of the game (Sian Rankin scored for the RAMS) the team eventually fell 2-1. This was an entertaining game to watch and the team should be very proud of their effort.
Men’s Soccer – The men followed up a tough game the night before with a phenomenal effort. STU was able to pull away in the end for a 4-1 victory but had to earn a tough victory against a RAMS team determined to pull off an upset. Austin Nelson again scored the lone goal for the home team.
Cross Country – Sept. 29
A rainy forecast quickly cleared up and provided an amazing venue for six teams (MSVU, Holland, USA, Mount A, Dal AC, and Crandall) who enjoyed running the beautiful Cobequid trail.  The Men’s team took home first place with Kieran Thornell continuing his dominant season as the overall winner of the race. The Dal AC Women placed 2nd with Chloe Toombs finishing a strong 4th overall. A special thank-you to Legge Health for providing pre and post race treatment to our athletes, the Bible Hill Recreation Department who allowed us use of the park and Keltie Jones who made a guest appearance this weekend!
DAL AC RAMS - Athletes of the Week:
Women: Chloe Toombs (Cross Country)
Chloe took 2 minutes 19 seconds off her race time from two weeks ago and went from 6th place to 4th  place in the standings. She was only six seconds behind the 3rd place runner and 21 seconds behind the 2nd place runner. She is definitely an athlete to watch as we head into the second half of the season.
Men: Ranthom Ndizihiwe (Cross Country)
Ranthom took over 2 minutes off his race time compared to two weeks ago and moved from 13th place to 7th place. Making him another Ram’s athlete to keep an eye on! This jump helped the RAMS men’s team place first in the DAL AC race.
