Take Our Kids to Work is an annual program in which Grade 9 students are hosted by parents, friends, relatives and volunteers at workplaces across the country every November.

Challenge 鈥揈veryone who donates to the United Way through Payroll Deduction will have their name entered into a draw for a Dedicated Parking Spot on the Truro Campus for one year.

The Agricultural Campus' International Office has prepared a schedule of events focused on opportunities to bring together members of our campus community to share perspectives, traditions and their 鈥渆ducation story鈥� with the intention of providing venues for fostering stronger community building.

This year鈥檚 Ten Thousand Villages Festival Sale has added a new feature. They will be hosting an information night to learn more about agriculture and food security in Ethiopia on the Friday evening of the sale at 7pm on November 27th.

A former Deputy Minister of Agriculture in Nova Scotia and a Pork producer in New Brunswick, Richard Huggard (Class of 鈥�56) and Stephen Moffett, (Class of 鈥�72) were honored this month as part of the annual induction ceremony of the Atlantic Agricultural Hall of Fame.

Hannah Arseneault, St. Martins, New Brusnwick, is in her second year of a Plant Science degree and is the ACAA Athlete of the Week.

This AFW Interdisciplinary Forum will bring together approximately 50 researchers, community, government, and industry, practitioners from various disciplines to explore connections between the economic, socio-cultural, environmental, and political dimensions of food and agricultural systems.
